How To UseTime and EffortA benefit of self-paced learning is your ability to review the material until you feel comfortable with it. The course is a thorough introduction to Local Health Officer roles and responsibilities, but it is not meant to be an all-inclusive course. You get better at the job by communicating with other LHOs and other experts in the field. The more discussion you have with them, the more effective this course will be in your professional development. Do not hesitate to contact the Office of Local Public Health or your district liaison.
